The award was presented to TSC Auto ID at the 2025 Red Dot Award ceremony for Product Design in Essen, Germany.
On the Winners Section of the Red Dot website, the Red Dot jury praised the MB241 Series Linerless printer for its ability to “streamline industrial labelling workflows.” This printer exemplifies TSC Auto ID’s customer-centric approach to product design, standing out as one of the few engineered for industrial operations, and reflects its commitment to sustainability. By eliminating the need for liner removal, linerless printing reduces waste and enhances workplace safety—making it an increasingly attractive option for efficiency.

The MB241 Series linerless printer’s compact form factor, one of the smallest in its class, fits easily into small workstations, maximising valuable operational spaces. A bifold-door design reduces space usage by 24%, streamlining media replacement as well as cleaning.

While linerless printing offers many benefits, it requires diligent maintenance to prevent adhesive build-up that can cause jams and skewing. The MB241 Series linerless facilitates this with a design that allows for easy and safe access to its cutter blade, media path, and printhead for quick and effortless cleaning and maintenance, reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
Vertical DPI Adjustment
To further address skewing that can cause text, barcodes, and other images to be stretched or compressed, the MB241 Series linerless printer is equipped with Vertical DPI Adjustment. This feature offers operators the flexibility to fine-tune vertical print percentages from the display menu, ensuring superior print quality.
